Dear Boys..

I know you want a snow day sooo bad tomorrow.  You did all the "rituals."  Put the spoons under your pillow, wore your underwear inside out, flushed ice cubes down the toilet.  You have worked for this.  But, I am very afraid that it just won't happen.  You haven't realized yet that our little town is insanely efficient at snow removal.  And really, you don't need plowed roads anyway when most of you can walk to school! 

You would have more of a chance of missing school if another hurricane hit Central Ohio like it did when Ike went through here three years ago and you missed four days of school.  See, we are prepared for snow.  Hurricanes, not so much.

But, I will keep my fingers crossed for you anyway!!
